A forthcoming conference hosted by specialist contractor recruiter Russam GMS and Angel News promises to provide valuable career pointers to jobbing Umbrella Company Employees and other independent professionals in the UK’s contracting community.
The clue is in the title: The Great British Workforce Revolution. This year the conference will focus on the changing employment and business landscape in the UK and how this impacts contractors, freelancers and interim managers, as well as NEDs, entrepreneurs and business angels.
Russam GMS’s founder and chair, Charles Russam, explained: “The business landscape is changing beyond recognition, with nearly half the UK labour market now working as what we term ‘self-drive workers’. With the economy finally growing, there will be increased business opportunities for independent workers that we want to explore in our conference. We are excited to partner again with Angel News and welcome two of the UK’s most well-known entrepreneurs to share their inspirational business stories with our delegates.”
Angel News CEO and founder Modwenna Rees-Mogg described the conference, which is scheduled for 4th June this year, as a “must attend event” for everybody currently involved in the world of freelance contracting and hiring, adding that it promises to shed more light on the interim, freelance and contractor sector by the end of the day.
The event features leading economists, speakers and influencers in the senior executive market, including the former CEO of Ratner’s Jewellers, Gerald Ratner, and YO! Sushi creative Simon Woodroffe.
Tickets ordered before 30th April are priced £95 and can be obtained online at www.workforcerevolution.co.uk.
